Steel Structure

Steel structure can be divided into building steel structure, bridge steel structure and so on. Compared with reinforced concrete structure commonly used in construction field, steel structure has the advantages of high strength, low project cost, light weight, short construction period and factory production. With so many advantages, from the use of major projects to the general use, it has been widely valued and developed, showing a scene of prosperity all the way.

1. Long-span spatial steel structure.

In recent years, the spatial structure represented by grid and reticulated shell continues to develop massively, not only for civil buildings, but also for industrial factories, hangars, terminals, stadiums, exhibition centers, grand theatres, museums and so on.

2. Light steel structure.

Compared with heavy steel structure, light steel structure includes portal frame, arched corrugated steel roof structure and so on. It is mainly used in light industrial factories, cotton and grain warehouses, docks and bonded warehouses, agricultural products, building materials, various trade markets, such as furniture, stadiums, exhibition halls, mobile houses and other floors. The amount of steel used is usually about 30-40kg/ steel (excluding the amount of steel). Every year, 8 million square meters of light steel houses are built nationwide and about 200000 tons of steel are used.

3. Steel-concrete composite structure.

Steel-concrete structure is a reasonable combination, which gives full play to the advantages of steel and concrete. It not only has excellent static and dynamic performance, but also can save a lot of steel and reduce its consumption.

4. Steel structure residence.

The weight of the steel structure house is about 1 / 2 of that of the reinforced concrete house, which can meet the needs of the big bay in the house, and its usable area is about 4% higher than that of the reinforced concrete house. Steel can be recycled and has less pollution to the environment in the process of construction and demolition, which is in line with the national policy of promoting housing industrialization, developing energy conservation and saving land.

5. Steel structure of bridge.

Big cities regard the construction of transport infrastructure such as bridges as an important foundation for economic development, and cable-stayed bridges use more steel structures, mainly used in steel boxes, cables and towers.
